E-Exchanges and the Final Invitation

{We’re getting so close to the end that I’m experiencing these e-mail exchanges in a totally different way.}
October 4, 2011 from Kathy
Hi--Your Mom finished her antibiotics this am and when I checked how she was doing at about 5pm, Rosmary said things seemed to be pretty good. Then about an hour later, The nurse, Rosmary, called and advised your Mom had a temp of 101 and was coughing rather badly. So tomorrow, we have an appointment at Kaiser Martinez at 10:45am  to get things checked out. Nan, who visits on Wednesdays, will come along with me. I will keep you posted. Tina, hope your visit today was a good one. Bye for now. Love, K.

hi tina!  i hope you are doing well.  sorry we haven't been in touch recently.  things with school are really crazy, to say the least.  i dont remember the email you sent about gma.  sorry that i missed it.  that is sweet that you get to be such a comfort to her.  my dad and i saw her the 4th of september.  she was really agitated and didn't want us there. we tried to linger thinking that she would change her mind, but she told us like 4 times to leave before we did.  so we were there maybe about 15 min max.  i am really going to try to make it on saturday.  i have a really big test on that monday, so it may be sort of tough.  but i will let you know.  i hope you are doing well.  talk to ya soon!

love,

 Hi---We went for the appt. this am and your Mom handled things pretty well. Her temp was normal, weight was 116.9 pounds, and the other vitals were ok. The Dr. gave her a 10 day more powerful antibiotic, and some stronger cough syrup with codein. Hopefully, this combo will knock out this cough. That's all for now. Hope all is well with you folks. Love, K.

Hi!  Here's the latest.  I corrected the phone on Tuesday and ran off eight more copies today to give to Kathy on Sunday, when we'll do a bit more planning for the event.
      Love,
      Tina Mom

I don't think this is the kind of community-provided bench the SF Chronicle was talking about today in its article https://www.sfchronic...
