The Reading from the Peace Corps Journals in the Capitol Rotunda in 1988

On Sunday I had faculty from City College of San Francisco over to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Peace Corps, but I haven't had time to write about that yet--too much homework from my study sabbatical!  I also follow the dictate "Write what you need to write," and this morning I needed to write to Michael Collier about his article "As Alzheimer's robs mind, heart opens," which resonated with me a lot.  But I'll be back tomorrow.  In the meantime, here's an article from 1988, when I made it to D.C. for the wonderful reading from 400 Peace Corps diaries.  Maybe this is unreadable, but it will hold my place, like a book marker, until I get back.  In the meantime, here are some links for things I've already written about the Peace Corps.
