As I mentioned a few days ago, I returned from vacation via Oklahoma and Annie Get Your Gun, and then I remembered Paint Your Wagon and had to listen to a Clint Eastwood, 1969, singing love songs in that film. That was two years before he did the Dirty Harry movie and Play Misty for Me. Oh, the good old days.
Today I extended our road trip by seeing Bugsy (even though it's not a musical comedy) and taking pictures of scenes pertaining to the Mohave. At first I was watching it with French subtitles just to work a tiny bit on my French, but when I realized that the words could be part of the vacation collage, I switched to English. It's nice to see the 1991 picture with the Mirage in the same frame as the Flamingo Hotel because we stayed at the Mirage.
