I'd thought that I'd work in "Gone Girl" right after the departure of my gardeners, who were doing a pressure wash too. But when Janet said she'd be taking a walk at the beach around 5:15, I knew I wouldn't be out of "Gone Girl" in time, so I chose Janet and the beach over the movie. She kindly accepted my plea to first do a walk-through of my house to figure out what I should do next with books and bookshelves and other belongings. I told her I needed a 12-Step Program and a sponsor to get my home in order. Her assignment: Give away enough of the books to fill the bookcase.
The walk was beautiful and cooling but not cold. We walked from Vicente and Ocean Beach to Lincoln and Ocean Beach and then back. I didn't take any pictures because that annoys Janet.
