I just contacted Efren, my outstanding tutor from CCSF tech help, about another student, Dmitry, who in an effort to get an A instead of a B, almost accomplished the last-minute monumental task he set out to accomplish and, in the process, accomplished a lot of other things. I'll describe his exploits another time--or have him explain them in a Vimeo, which I hope to make with Efren's help.
This was also the day that a former student, Diana, left a present for me in my testing room with a sweet message addressed to "Teacher Tina" and saying, "This present represent a little piece of the big love I have for you..."
I now need to contact Judy Hubbel, who was involved in Dmitry's run around campus the other day. I've been meaning to send her the Drop Box photos from the Champagne Luncheon to Save City College.
This just in (as of this afternoon): The ACCJC has won renewal of its accrediting function.
