Just like love comics, the way I learned to read, the American Studies 5 flyer I saw at CCSF has all caps: I AM DREDD! I AM THE INSTRUCTOR! The creature saying this is illustrated as a knd of Dart Vader with armor, gloves, adn weapons, but there's a disclaimer in small print within parentheses: "(Fictional character. Not Instructor.)" But finally a teacher-model I can relate to. I won't take my yellow and blue Longman-Pearson bag because it says "Great Teachers Inspire, Change the World," and I know I don't. I get notes that at first seem complimentary: "You are the greatest teacher I have ever known. Thank you for your patience with bad students like me." Then I get a whiff of the sarcasm.
