The Environment and the Election Tomorrow

This is what Javier drew to my attention when I saw him off at the San Francisco International Airport last night--on his way to Costa Rica.  Among the things we did over the weekend was get a copy of the New York Times to see what connections they were making between the environment and Hurricane Sandy.  I'll report more on that tomorrow, but here's Paul Krugman:

He points out that Republicans, who hate science because they fear scientific truths will lead to government regulations, have been week on emergency relief because they need to prove that government is just an interference.
