Demon-stration.

A very bright Eritrean student gave a talk on Thursday's student rally in my intermediate listening and speaking class, and I was both impressed by both his passion and his being able to articulate quite a few of the core concepts and by the fact that he pronounced the first two syllables of demonstration like the word demon.
