In the Cracks--What Happens between the Hours

I came home from campus and started working really hard on things I'll need for tomorrow both for the class in Intermediate Speaking and Listening and the copies for other class--including some midterm evaluation forms--for ME as well as for them.

But as always there are the OTHER matters that I sometimes don't even mention even though they're important  and maybe more compelling than the routine.  Today I found a response from 'Ana to my birthday wishes on fifth birthday of her grandson, who was just a fetus when I was there in August 2008.  I also got an e-mail message from Alex Capus saying that he'd just gotten the proofs of Skidoo and thought I'd enjoy browsing through them.  (Very tempting 90 pages!)  Then there were the messages from Suzy about David,  "Yet another fall."  So by e-mail we've been conferring about what to do about his bed and putting something nearby for him to grasp to pull himself up and to let himself down.

Today in the animal chapter of our NorthStar 4, we started a reading on seizure alert and seizure response dogs.  And there was something in the news about a fish that can detect epilepsy.

I don't think this is the kind of community-provided bench the SF Chronicle was talking about today in its article https://www.sfchronic...
