Hopeful Headlines for CCSF

I just got back from West Portal, where I walked because I wanted to take a picture at the same newspaper bin I'd taken one of on January 5, 2013, when the headlines were NOT what we wanted to see.

This year, almost to the day, the headlines were what we hoped for:  "Judge gives CCSF more time/College's accreditation can't be stripped without a trial."

I'd just come back from doing some more CCSF outreach, which turned out to be fun:

Richmond District Neighborhood Center:  Beacon Works/Youth Program Assistants, 741 30th Avenue.  Spoke to someone in the Music sector and someone in the childcare sector, and both were very receptive and interested, as was the person I spoke to at Sunset Youth Services: Transitional Aged Youth Support Services, 3918 Judah St., which is near a couple of vegetarian places that look good.  I also went to the Youth Sector Bridge:  Community Youth Center, 319 6th Avenue, Suite 201, SF, but it was closed/locked, and no one answered when I rang the doorbell.

On Monday I plan to go to the Youth Justice Institute (YJI):  Mentoring Program 375 Woodside Ave. Buildings W1 and W2.

I don't think this is the kind of community-provided bench the SF Chronicle was talking about today in its article https://www.sfchronic...
