San Francisco Is Where People Burst Out in Song on "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist."

I just wrote a letter to my friends Tom and Bill, and then it occurred to me that this is something I should share with the people who don't read my blog on San Francisco Vistas!

Dear Tom and Bill,

Have you heard about or seen the new show "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist"?

You may know that I watch TV only for the Golden Globes, the Oscars, and the Tony Awards, but I made an exception to that last night, when I watched "Zoey's Playlist" because I'd seen an article about it in the SF Chronicle, and Lily Janiak acknowledged that

Sometimes feelings won’t be contained by speech. Sometimes a moment is so rich we need to stop time for a bit and hang out there, feeling its textures, its temperature, its depths.
Sometimes characters simply need to burst into song.

From seeing it, I now know that the songs Zoey hears them singing reveal what they conceal when they're not singing.  She finds out about how they really feel from the songs she hears them singing--songs they don't know they've sung.  That's a neat trick!

Oh, and the show takes place in San Francisco.

Just wanted to share this with the two  of you!

Love,
Tina

I don't think this is the kind of community-provided bench the SF Chronicle was talking about today in its article https://www.sfchronic...
