I
asked myself a question about a substitute for Comet cleanser. Here’s what I found online:
Throw
out your Comet cleanser and break out the baking soda and white vinegar!
Throw out your Comet cleanser and
break out the baking soda and white vinegar! Sprinkle the baking soda onto the
grimy surface you would like to clean then spray white vinegar over the baking
soda until it starts to foam. Leave the foam on the surface for a few minute so
it has time to loosen up the grim and then just scrub away! Follow up by
rinsing off with hot water.
6:59 AM Okay, here goes.
6:05 AM I need to get more baking soda, but I used
what I had. (No more cookies, no more
cakes until I go shopping) what
surprised me was how it fizzed when I sort of sprayed on the vinegar. (I sprinkled because I didn’t have an empty
spray bottle.) It was like an Alka Selzer. Hope it cures what ails my sink. I’m supposed to leave it on for a few
minutes.

6:30 AM Doesn't look great, but I was doing it with too little baking soda, I think.
5:01 I now have more baking soda, so I'm going to try again tomorrow.
Can use baking soda in the toilets too.
