I've been very busy today, so I'll let the picture do most of the talking--or singing. I was making a thank you note for a friend who took me to dinner last Friday. She also gave me the CD of Andrea Marcovicci singing "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square," which we listened to at the gathering for Mom, who used to play that song on the piano and say that on her 90th birthday she and friends were going to go to London and sing that song there in Berkeley Square. I wondered about the lyrics "Angels dining at the Ritz," which seemed elitist to me, which Mom didn't. But now I've made peace with the idea, and heeeeeeeere's Mom!
(Dana found the angel doll, which she said looked like Mom, years ago, and I've used it on the top of the Christmas tree ever since.)
